Independently make judgments, implement, and monitor logistical and analytical processes by interpreting policy and organizational objectives. Maintain inventory of medical supplies to ensure Medical, Dental, and Veterinary clinics and related services never reach zero balance for required supply lines. Analyze and improve management processes such as workflow, service support, personnel resource allocation, inventory levels, stockroom management, requisition and purchasing, and equipment recapitalization. Serve as the organization’s Command Supply Discipline Program coordinator alternate Manage and implement the Environment of Care program in accordance with Joint Accreditation standards. Serve as technical advisor and consultant on organizational contracts, including Personal Services, medical/surgical supply, and facilities support contracts. Serve as subject matter expert on the Emergency Management Committee (EMP) and advise the Chairperson on logistics related matters. Requirements Conditions of employment Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. A Personnel Security Investigation is required. This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required. Selectees will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption. This position is a Testing Designated Position subject to pre-employment screening and random drug testing. Selectees will be required to consent to participation in random drug urinalysis testing. Must be able to obtain and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association. Advanced certification (e.g., ALS) does not supersede BLS. This position may require the incumbent to work on call during irregular work hours which may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and/or varying work schedules. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes overseeing logistics operations; conducting compliance and internal control reviews; analyzing logistical processes to resolve issues; and assisting in the development or adaptation of policies and procedures to ensure effective use of resources..
