About the Role:

The Logistics Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the Logistics Department by assisting with the coordination and optimization of supply chain activities. This internship offers hands-on experience in managing inventory, tracking shipments, and analyzing logistics data to improve operational efficiency. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and maintain accurate records of logistics processes. Through this role, the intern will gain valuable insights into logistics management, problem-solving, and process improvement within a dynamic business environment. Ultimately, the internship aims to develop the candidate's understanding of logistics operations and prepare them for a future career in supply chain management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Bilingual: English - Chinese - (A plus)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous internship or coursework related to logistics or supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with logistics software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Basic understanding of transportation and distribution processes.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monitoring and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any transportation issues.
  • Support inventory management by updating records and conducting periodic audits.
  • Collaborate with logistics coordinators and suppliers to facilitate smooth communication and coordination.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify trends and suggest improvements for operational efficiency.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to logistics activities and performance metrics.
