Role Summary:
To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Logistics & Freight Coordinator to strengthen our logistics operations and build strong carrier partnerships. This role oversees day-to-day freight execution, including shipment booking, tracking, carrier coordination, and rate management.
What You’ll Do:
• Coordinate daily shipments and logistics execution across North America
• Book and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery
• Build strong relationships with strategic partners
• Negotiate rates and manage freight contracts
• Manage day-to-day logistics coordination including scheduling, booking, and tracking shipments
• Resolve shipping issues quickly and professionally
• Monitor freight costs and improve efficiency
• Prepare shipping documents (BOLs, freight confirmations, and customs paperwork if applicable)
• Work closely with sales and delivery teams
What We’re Looking For:
• 1+ years of freight, logistics, or transportation coordination experience
• Experience in agricultural commodities or bulk shipments preferred
• Experience coordinating bulk, rail, or agricultural commodity shipments
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent communicator and problem-solver
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft)
• Customer driven and solution focused
Nice to Have:
• Rail experience
• Familiarity with cross-border shipping (Canada/US)
• Experience in managing freight budgets and carrier performance
