Logistics Dispatcher (Trucking and Brokerage)

This position will dispatch truck drivers for deliveries to customers and provide necessary communications to complete tasks. Schedule Monday - Friday - Full-Time must be able to work a specific assigned work schedule 40-50 hours per week. Flexibility must be available for after hour on call duties. Must have reliable transportation/daycare that does not interfere with work schedule and attendance Dispatcher: Ability to communicate with all levels of management. Minimum 2 year experience dispatching within the trucking industry Ability to think quickly and maintain positive attitude in a fast paced environment. Strong attention to detail Computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook. Ability to learn software program used to manage truck operations. Ability to write and speak English. BILINGUAL ENGLISH/SPANISH IS A PLUS but not required. FOLLOW-UP SKILLS ARE IMPERATIVE. Experience working with owner/operators is also a plus but not required. Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally always Assess customer needs and timing of deliveries Plan and Manage daily delivery schedule for drivers Provide "Top Notch" customer service for existing accounts Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously Monitor e-mail for incoming orders, inventory updates, and communication between team members Create loads in dispatch system Divide dispatch responsibilities with other team members' ' Work Location: One location Work Remotely No Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Experience: Truck Dispatching: 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
