Logistics dispatcher specialist/OWNER OPERATOR

Overview As a Logistics Dispatcher Specialist, we will coordinate freight and vehicle movements to keep transportation plans organized and shipments moving. we will work with drivers, customers, and internal teams to manage dispatch details, update records, and respond to changing needs. Your impact: Accurate, timely dispatching helps drivers stay informed and helps customers and receiving teams plan for freight arrivals. Duties Coordinate road transportation operations, fleet assignments, and shipment schedules using dispatch software and transportation management systems. Manage multi-line phone systems, handle phone calls with professional phone etiquette, and provide responsive customer service. Communicate dispatch updates across internal teams, drivers, carriers, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners. Enter and review shipment, vehicle, and delivery information; support shipping and receiving documentation. Track vehicles and freight with Global Positioning System (GPS) tools; use Geographic Information System (GIS) data and analysis to support transportation planning. Skills Strong communication, organizational, analysis, typing, and data-entry skills; comfortable managing competing priorities. Experience or familiarity with logistics, supply chain, transportation management, dispatching, and road transportation operations. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and vehicle dispatch software; experience with Oracle Transportation Management, SyteLine, or AS400 is preferred. Understanding of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and fleet management is preferred. Phone communication experience and familiarity with transportation management systems, freight, and 3PL coordination are assets. Pay: $130,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year Work Location: Remote
