Logistics Dispatcher / Operations Coordinator

Speedpack Express is hiring a full-time Logistics Dispatcher / Operations Coordinator for our South Florida operation. This is an in-office, hands-on operations role for someone who is organized, comfortable with technology, and able to make good decisions in a fast-moving environment. Our dispatchers coordinate time-sensitive courier shipments, assign work to drivers, monitor active deliveries, communicate with drivers and customers, and handle operational issues as they arise. Responsibilities Coordinate and assign local, airport, and long-distance delivery jobs Monitor drivers, active routes, pickup and delivery deadlines Determine the best available driver for each assignment Communicate job instructions, changes, and updates to drivers Monitor shipment photos, paperwork, and proof of delivery Handle delays, failed attempts, route changes, and other exceptions Maintain accurate job information in Speedpack's dispatch system Communicate professionally with customers and other team members Prioritize multiple time-sensitive situations simultaneously What We're Looking For Strong computer skills Good judgment and problem-solving ability Excellent organization and attention to detail Clear written and verbal communication Ability to learn new software quickly Reliable attendance and punctuality Comfortable making decisions independently Able to stay organized under pressure Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, air cargo, customer service, or operations is helpful, but not required . We are willing to train someone who demonstrates strong judgment, communication skills, and the ability to learn quickly. Compensation Starting pay: $20.00/hour Full-time position Performance and compensation review after approximately 90 days Opportunity for raises and advancement into higher-level or salaried operations positions based on performance This is not a passive call-center role . Dispatchers are directly involved in running Speedpack's daily operation and are expected to think critically, prioritize effectively, and take ownership of their work.
