Logistics Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Job Summary: ASAP Freigth Systems is seeking an experienced Logistics Dispatcher / Hotshot Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our growing Houston operations team. This position plays a critical role in supporting our logistics brokerage, hotshot dispatch operations, and customer service team in a fast-paced transportation environment. You’ll use transportation management systems and vehicle dispatch software to schedule road transportation, track vehicles with GPS (Global Positioning System), and keep shipment information accurate. Your impact: Clear dispatch coordination helps customers receive timely updates and helps drivers and internal teams stay aligned. Responsibilities: Support and assist dispatch operations for our Logistics Brokerage and Hotshot Divisions. Tractor-Trailers, Hotshot Trucks, Sprinter Vans, Stake Beds, Pipe Racks, Gooseneck Trailers Communicate professionally with customers, drivers, and carrier partners via phone and email. Enter and update shipment information accurately within dispatch and transportation management systems. Assist with load tracking, customer updates, order entry, and documentation. Provide backup support to dispatch and customer service teams as needed. Help ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Review transportation information, support transportation planning, and follow applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in: Truck Dispatching, Hotshot Dispatching, Logistics Coordination, Transportation Customer Service. Strong knowledge of Houston and surrounding Texas markets. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Reliable transportation to and from the office. Preferred: Experience with freight brokerage operations. Familiarity with transportation management software and load boards. Knowledge of expedited freight and oil & gas logistics.
