Logistics Dispatch Assistant / Freight Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our dispatch team as a full-time Logistics Dispatch Assistant / Freight Coordinator. This person will be cross-trained on various duties and is integral to the company’s success. Transportation/supply chain experience is required. This is a non-exempt and onsite position with a $26+ hourly wage (negotiable according to experience) with reviews at 3 and 6 months. A strong performer will be poised for career growth. Sample Duties and Responsibilities: Load planning and optimization Assist in resolving driver issues (e.g., detentions, breakdowns, weather delays) Ensure all loads comply with DOT Regulations and safety standards Navigate website portals to schedule pick-up & delivery appointments Prepare and generate dispatch documentation (e.g., shipping manifests, bills of lading, proof of delivery) Required skills: 3-5 Years of experience in logistics and supply chain.
