Logistics & Dispatch Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics & Dispatch Coordinator to assistant daily delivery operations. This role is responsible for coordinating pickups from surrounding vendors, returning deliveries to our warehouse, and ensuring accurate scanning, sorting, and routing of deliveries for the following day. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment. This position requires the use of a personal vehicle for vendor pickups. This is an evening position 4pm-10pm. We have another morning position 7am-5pm located in pearland. Key Responsibilities Pick up deliveries from customers and vendors in surrounding areas using a personal vehicle Transport deliveries to the warehouse for processing Scan, sort, and organize incoming deliveries accurately Dispatch and route deliveries for the following day Number, verify, and prepare routes and deliveries for drivers Research and resolve client issues promptly and accurately Escalate unresolved client issues to the direct supervisor in a timely manner Communicate effectively with drivers, vendors, and internal team members Pay & Benefits Employment Type: W2, Full-Time Pay Rate: $16 per hour Benefits: Available after 3 months of employment Vehicle Compensation: Reimbursement provided for use of personal vehicle (gas reimbursement or monthly flat rate, based on mutual agreement) Qualifications & Skills Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with dispatching software and basic computer systems High level of attention to safety, accuracy, and customer service Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Familiarity with Houston and surrounding areas Bilingual candidates preferred Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle (minimum regular-sized sedan required) Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk Heavy communication via phone and email Ability to lift up to 15 lbs as needed Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 per hour Experience: Dispatching: 1 year (Required) Logistics: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
