Some areas of the professional development opportunities include:Guidance and financial support to participate in coffee competitionsCoffee sensory evaluation (cupping) training that is designed with CQI's Q Grader curriculum in mindTraining on sample & profile roasting upon demonstrated interestFinancial and logistical support for extra-curricular projects when possibleGuidance and training on syrup and beverage productionPosition's Responsibilities: Complete daily delivery routes & logistics responsibilities quickly & accurately as directed by a supervisorAssist in production requirements according to predetermined systems, SOPs, and standards including packaging & shippingAssist in general cleaning according to written SSOPs and as directed by a supervisorCommunicate clearly and directly with supervisor(s) about any issues regarding logistics and/or production that come to your attentionPhysical components and requirements of this position: An open-minded and empathetic personality with cooperative and self-disciplined work ethicWillingness to accept feedback and follow verbal directionsAttention to detail to ensure that customers and order information is accurate and up to dateEfficient time management skillsSpeed - crucial that this person be able to get the job done timely delivering product to customer as quickly and efficiently as possibleDriving for extended periods of time regularlyStanding for extended periods of time and stooping frequentlyRepetitive motions for extended periods of timeOften lifting up to 60 lbs and occasionally dragging green coffee burlap bags (up to 130 lbs), usually with the help of another personA valid driver s license and clean driving record is requiredMust be comfortable driving a large vehicle (van)Experience in a delivery and/or production environment is strongly desiredAdequate reading comprehension skills/ability to follow written directions & predetermined recipesDaytime availability Monday-Friday is a mustCompensation & perks:Pay range of $21.57- $23Comprehensive health benefits package (medical, dental, vision)- available after 60 days and maintained at 25+ hours per week.7 Day accrued PTO per year Professional growth Complimentary 1lb of green or roasted coffee per monthDiscounted merchandise Job Type: Full Time, 32-40 hours per weekIf you are interested, please submit your resume and cover letter with your preferred pronouns
