Logistics Customer Service Representative – Track & Trace Location: South Barrington, IL Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site Pay: $40,000–$45,000 per year Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM About the Role We are hiring a Logistics Customer Service Representative to help manage shipment tracking, customer communication, and delivery updates . You will work with customers, carriers, drivers, and internal teams to keep shipments moving and resolve delivery issues quickly. Paid training is provided , so strong customer service candidates can succeed without prior logistics experience. What You'll Do Track shipments from pickup through final delivery Contact carriers and drivers for shipment updates Provide customers with delivery updates Handle customer phone calls and emails Monitor shipments for delays and service issues Help resolve delivery and transportation problems Update shipment information in company systems Coordinate with operations and logistics teams Manage multiple shipments while maintaining accuracy Must-Have Skills Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent verbal and written communication Strong organization and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office Comfortable using computers and multiple systems Dependable, professional, and customer-focused High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Experience Previous customer service experience Logistics or transportation experience Shipment tracking or Track & Trace experience Dispatch or freight experience Freight brokerage experience Microsoft Outlook or Excel experience Transportation management software experience Work Schedule & Location Monday–Friday 12:00 PM–8:00 PM Full-time On-site in South Barrington, IL No remote or hybrid work No regular weekend schedule Pay & Benefits $40,000–$45,000 per year Benefits include: Medical insurance Dental and vision insurance Paid time off SIMPLE IRA retirement plan Paid training and career growth Why Join Us?
