We’re looking for a motivated Logistics Coordinator to join our team and help manage the movement of products from the mill to our customers. You’ll have a hands-on role in coordinating truck and rail shipments, managing orders and delivery schedules, communicating with carriers and customers, and making sure the right documentation is in place at the right time. What You’ll Do Coordinate truck and rail shipments from origin through final delivery. Work closely with mills, carriers, dispatchers, customers, and internal teams to coordinate transportation and delivery requirements. Monitor active shipments and stay ahead of pickup dates, transit schedules, delivery appointments, and potential delays. Keep customers and internal teams informed with timely and accurate shipment updates. Coordinate customer capacity and delivery schedules to help maximize product movement. Manage order and shipment information and maintain accurate records throughout the transportation process. Prepare, review, and coordinate international shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, Certificates of Origin, CRTs, and DUEs. Coordinate documentation approvals and corrections with customers and mills. Process shipment-related transactions and documentation in SAP Business One. Review carrier reports and ensure shipment information is accurate and up to date. Work with customs brokers and other partners to help ensure smooth cross-border movements. Support compliance with customs requirements, Incoterms, MERCOSUR requirements, and applicable transportation regulations. or Support compliance with customs requirements, Incoterms, Mexico and Central America requirements, and applicable transportation regulations. Troubleshoot delays, documentation issues, scheduling changes, and other challenges that come with a fast-moving transportation environment. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is organized, curious, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership. You don't need to know everything on day one, but you should enjoy learning, asking questions, and figuring things out. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred. 1-2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, order management, freight forwarding, or a related field. Experience coordinating truck and/or rail transportation is a plus. Exposure to cross-border or international logistics is preferred. Familiarity with shipping, customs, or international trade documentation. Knowledge of Incoterms is a plus. Experience with SAP Business One or another ERP/TMS platform is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Bilingual English and Spanish. Strong communication and follow-through. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple shipments and deadlines at the same time.
