We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to play a key role in managing the movement of raw materials and finished products while ensuring seamless plant operations. This position offers the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in logistics, transportation, inventory management, and SAP systems while working alongside cross-functional teams that drive business success. In this role, you will have a visible impact on production performance, customer service, supply chain efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives. What You'll Do Drive Logistics Excellence (80%) As the Logistics Coordinator, you will be the central point of coordination for transportation, inventory, and shipment activities across the site. Key Responsibilities Include Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments, including truck and rail transportation. Manage bulk and packaged finished goods logistics to ensure timely customer deliveries. Partner with production, customer service, planning, purchasing, and carriers to optimize supply chain performance. Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify potential supply chain challenges. Utilize SAP to perform product allocations, inventory transactions, goods receipts, and shipment processing. Generate shipping documentation and transportation notices. Develop and maintain detailed loading schedules and shipment plans. Investigate and resolve logistics issues while driving effective solutions. Support inventory accuracy and reconciliation efforts. Analyze logistics performance data and prepare reports for leadership. Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Serve as a key backup for Production Planning activities. Provide ongoing support to plant leadership, including Production and Engineering teams. High School Diploma or equivalent. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems. Knowledge of truck and rail logistics operations. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field. Professional certifications in logistics or supply chain management.
