Logistics Coordinator (Part time)

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Part-Time Logistics Coordinator to join our shipping team. The Logistics Coordinator oversees the daily operations of the supply chain, ensuring efficient and timely movement of materials and products from suppliers to customers. They manage orders, coordinate transportation, and handle warehouse operations and inventory management. This role involves communication with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to streamline logistics and resolve issues quickly. Must ensure all orders comply with company and regulatory standards. This role will also support production as required with items such as closing production workorders and loading / unloading trucks. Duties Data entry Basic inventory control measures Accept and document packages and deliveries made to the facility Store items in appropriate storage areas, documenting any changes Arrange for transportation for deliveries to customers (including customer pickups), keeping in close communication with freight carriers, internal teams and the customer to ensure seamless transactions while addressing delays or concerns as required Arranging and managing transportation including selecting carriers, brokering freight rates, and vetting new transportation partners Prepare shipping documentation while ensuring compliance with regulations including customs Prepare and maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation noting item contents, delivery methods and other logistical details Identify and resolve shipping, storage or receiving discrepancies as they arise Monitor and manage transportation costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality assurance teams to maintain workflow Close production workorders Maintain a clean, safe work environment while performing job safely, reporting unsafe and/or hazardous conditions Promptly respond to phone calls and emails Other duties as assigned Join us as a Logistics Coordinator (Part-time) to be part of our team!
