Simply put, we are doing our part in the healthcare specialty logistics arena!Our RoleThe Logistics Coordinator will support operational activities related to the transportation of supplies, kits, and biological specimens. Responsibilities will include tracking shipments from the point of pickup through to delivery. The position will act as a key liaison between both external and internal partners. This is a full-time opportunity, with the option for hybrid remote work, Tuesday through Saturday.Your ImpactEfficiently and effectively track shipments with an emphasis on proactive troubleshooting, communication and intervention -Order, track, and report pickup and deliveriesDemonstrate ability to continuously improve day-to-day logistics, streamline work-flows and work diligently to provide quality support and build strong vendor relationsUpdate and manage daily logistics reports - Send daily reports of transit transactionsEffectively manage carriers to standard operating procedures and service level agreementsFamiliarity with standard logistics concepts, practices, and proceduresMonitor and trend carrier performanceMonitor carrier dashboardEffectively communicate with customers across management levelsDemonstrate excellent customer service skillsExecute service strategies and programs for problem resolutionManage and update BioTouch systems as needed for Client profilesWhat You BringRequires a high school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.2 years’ experience in a service related areaAll prospective employees must pass a background and drug checkWhat We NeedKnowledge of shipping logistics preferredKnowledge of UPS and FedEx network and shipping servicesStrong PC skills required including use of MS Office applicationsAbility to develop a strong understanding of our products and services to effectively handle inbound and outbound callsAbility to prioritize and shift priorities quickly as need dictatesProficient verbal and written communication skillsTeam oriented with commitment to the success of the team and organizational goalsAbility to meet tight deadlinesWillingness to work shift work and overtime as requiredWhat You’ll GetMedical, Dental, Vision after 30 daysHSA and PPO plans availableCompany paid Life Insurance, AD&D, and Long Term Disability401(k) with generous company match after 90 daysSupplemental Voluntary Benefits like Short Term Disability, Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital IndemnityEmployee Assistance Program$500 Referral Bonus Available!Job Number: 176260
