Logistics Coordinator/Intermodal Operations

Job Summary MODE Transportation is a non-asset based, third-party logistics company focused on delivering truckload, less-than-truckload, intermodal, air, ocean, parcel, and managed transportation services. Our company operates across North America through a network of highly qualified transportation professionals. Currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to provide exceptional customer service in the ordering, shipping, tracking, and delivery of client orders in a 3PL environment, as well as data entry and status reporting. Role and Responsibilities: Prepare new shipments Coordinate freight for pickup and delivery Schedule and dispatch carriers to transport freight Track and trace shipments to ensure safe and on-time delivery Answer inquiries from clients and service providers regarding shipment or order status. Enter shipment events in the Transportation Management System (TMS) to provide complete shipment status information to clients and the operations group Maintain data accuracy Produce daily reports showing order and shipment status Audit freight bills Process invoices for payment Required Qualifications Effective communication skills Strong customer service skills Ability to multi-task Problem-solving and analytical skills Decision-making skills Attention to detail, accuracy, and organization Proficient in all Microsoft products, including Outlook and Excel Team oriented Strong, get it done work ethic Previous operations experience within the transportation industry is a plus Benefits: 401(k) Paid time off Work Location: In person
