in the ordering, shipping, tracking, and delivery of client orders in a 3PL environment, as well as data entry and status reporting.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Prepare new shipments
• Coordinate freight for pickup and delivery
• Schedule and dispatch carriers to transport freight
• Track and trace shipments to ensure safe and on-time delivery
• Answer inquiries from clients and service providers regarding shipment or order status.
• Enter shipment events in the Transportation Management System (TMS) to provide complete shipment status information to clients and the operations group
• Maintain data accuracy
• Produce daily reports showing order and shipment status
• Audit freight bills
• Process invoices for payment
