Duties:
• Customer relations
• Compile documents related to shipments
• Make bookings with carriers and trucking companies
• Basic accounting functions (Invoicing, payables)
• Overseeing general operations to be completed in a orderly fashion
• Customer Service and Data Entry
• Coordinate Import/Export Forwarding Operations
• Provide rate quotes
• Consolidations, track & tracing
• Tracking container & cargo status
• Billing operation
Requirements:
• Minimum 1-2 yrs. in Logistics
• An Import Agent for at least 2 years from Freight Forwarding
• Must be computer literate: MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook
• Must be capable of standing, walking, and sitting for long periods at a time
• Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs
• Knowledge on TMS systems
• Knows Import documentation and processing A-Z air / ocean freight shipments
• Reliable and able to show to work on time and as scheduled
• Pass a background check and drugscreen
