Logistics Coordinator - Import

Reports to: Logistics Manager Location : On-site in Los Angeles, CA Company Overview: Being in business over a decade Constant rapid growth Wide offering of PLT, Trailer and TBR tires Job Overview: As a Logistics Operator you will manage destination operations for imports into the U.S. and Canada, ensuring shipments arrive safely and on schedule. You will coordinate end-to-end logistics with carriers, freight forwarders, and delivery partners, as well as manage warehouse handoffs. You will work closely with the China office to track shipments and oversee inland transportation across North America and Canada. You will proactively resolve any issues that arise during the import process to maintain smooth operations. Daily tasks include monitoring shipment status, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with import regulations. You will demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective communication in both English and Mandarin. Your primary goal will be to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-efficient delivery of imported goods. Performance will be measured through key indicators such as on-time delivery rates, accuracy of documentation, and successful issue resolution. Background Profile: 1+ years of experience in the logistics industry Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
