Logistics Coordinator

Job Overview Orchid Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to coordinate shipments, manage delivery schedules, and support daily logistics operations. This role is ideal for an organized professional who excels at communication, tracking shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely and efficient deliveries. Responsibilities Coordinate shipments, deliveries, pickup schedules, and transportation arrangements. Communicate with carriers, vendors, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations. Track shipments, monitor delivery status, and resolve delays or scheduling issues. Maintain accurate shipping records, invoices, bills of lading, and delivery documentation. Update logistics systems and ensure shipment information is accurate. Monitor inventory movements and coordinate with warehouse teams as needed. Prepare logistics reports and assist with tracking operational performance. Support freight cost tracking, billing, and invoice verification. Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and reduce logistics costs. Follow company procedures and applicable transportation and safety requirements. Qualifications Experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, dispatch, or supply chain operations preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and time-management abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other office applications. Ability to coordinate multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse systems (WMS), or ERP platforms. Familiarity with freight documentation, carrier coordination, and shipment tracking. Knowledge of inventory management and transportation procedures. Experience with logistics reporting and data entry.
