About the job We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join us. At American Shineray we have fun doing what we love by driving change and innovation. Position Overview Be partner with our teams and external brokers to resolve issues, manage documentation, and support regulatory reporting requirements. Support import operations by ensuring the compliant, timely movement of goods into the United States. Execute hands-on activities to maintain adherence to customs regulations and other compliance policies with the assistance and guidance from third party. 4. Key Responsibilities Coordinate with suppliers, logistics, and cross-functional teams to address import issues and ensure compliant shipment execution. Serve as the escalation point for distressed import shipments, conducting root cause analysis and implementing improvement plans. Manage relationships with customs brokers, including responding to inquiries and ensuring timely clearance of shipments. Collect, review, and validate import documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance. Provide analytical support for CBP requests and oversee post-entry compliance processes, including corrections and filings. Verify classification, valuation, country of origin, and applicable duties to ensure accurate tariff assessment. Support specialized import activities, including bonded shipments, free trade zone operations, and other non-standard transactions. Develop, maintain, and improve standard operating procedures for internal processes and external service providers. Prepare and distribute import reports and performance metrics to support compliance monitoring and decision-making. 5. Qualifications International Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field required, or 3 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree. Minimum 3 years of experience in import trade operations, compliance, supply chain, manufacturing, international logistics, or inventory management. Working knowledge of U.S. Customs and Border Protection regulations and import compliance practices preferred. Experience working with customs brokers or within an importer compliance function preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and support regulatory decision-making. Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks in a timely manner. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel skills.
