Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage and track B2B truckload orders and coordinate with carriers, sales teams, and other internal departments to ensure timely and efficient deliveries. This role also involves freight rate analysis, logistics issue resolution, and market trend reporting to support cost control and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has experience in logistics or supply chain operations, strong communication and coordination skills, and the ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for improvement. Key Responsibilities 1. Order Coordination and Tracking Monitor and track B2B truckload orders to ensure timely delivery in accordance with order requirements. Communicate with trucking carriers and service providers to coordinate pickup schedules, transit times, arrival times, and delivery arrangements. Work closely with the sales team to confirm order details, shipping requirements, and delivery expectations. Maintain accurate shipment records and provide timely updates on order status. 2. Freight Rate Analysis and Cost Optimization Conduct market research on trucking and freight rates. Collect and compare quotes from different carriers and logistics service providers. Analyze freight costs and market pricing trends to identify cost-saving opportunities. Provide recommendations to improve transportation efficiency and control logistics expenses. 3. Exception Management and Problem Resolution Identify, investigate, and resolve shipment delays, scheduling conflicts, and other transportation-related issues. Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to implement corrective actions and minimize disruptions. Communicate shipment updates and potential delays to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner. Help maintain service quality and customer satisfaction through effective issue resolution. 4. Market Research and Reporting Monitor logistics market conditions, freight rate fluctuations, and industry trends. Prepare weekly and monthly reports on logistics operations, market developments, and pricing trends. Analyze relevant data and summarize key findings to support business planning and management decisions. Maintain organized records and prepare reports using Excel and other office software. Qualifications Previous experience in logistics, transportation, freight coordination, or supply chain operations preferred. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Ability to organize and analyze data, compare pricing, and prepare operational reports. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple orders and priorities simultaneously. Ability to respond effectively to unexpected changes and time-sensitive logistics issues. A proactive mindset with an interest in freight market trends and cost optimization. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Mandarin Chinese proficiency is preferred Compensation and Benefits Hourly Pay: $22.00–$25.00, depending on experience.
