Logistics Coordinator

Overview As a Logistics Coordinator, you’ll keep products moving by coordinating purchasing, inventory, warehouse operations, and transportation. Responsibilities Coordinate freight, shipping and receiving, transportation planning, and warehouse distribution; use transportation management systems and warehouse management systems to track activity. Support purchasing, procurement, sourcing, pricing, negotiation, category management, supplier and vendor management, and materials management. Monitor inventory control, stocking, demand planning, materials handling, and production planning; use material requirements planning (MRP) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems as applicable. Requirements Experience in logistics, supply chain management, warehouse operations, or a supply chain operations role; warehouse experience and supplier management experience are valuable. Knowledge of inventory management systems, warehouse management, transportation management, shipping logistics, freight, and order fulfillment. Strong customer service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; able to apply negotiation and process improvement practices.
