Provide logistical support for the Depot division by coordinating efficient, cost-effective transportation services, analyzing freight spending, and resolving freight-related issues to meet business and customer needs.

o internal and external customers using tools such as Smartsheet, carrier websites, and internal resources.
- Ensure compliance with the inbound receiving routing guide.
- Support freight bill payments through the bank.
- Monitor aging open orders in the Cetova Report (550,570)
- Monitor and analyze rating exceptions via third-party freight processing system.
- Manage freight claim reporting process within transportation system.
- Monitor and analyze freight expenses by carrier and mode (air freight, expedited, etc.) for trends and provide feedback to other departments on actions to reduce overall freight spending.
- Provide logistical support to Procurement, Customer Service, and Finance.
- Perform miscellaneous transactions in MRP system and WMS to process shipments.
- Aid in re-routing of incorrectly routed shipments.
- Promote safety and support a safe working environment for all employees.
- Resolve logistics-related issues impacting customers or operations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· 1-3 years of logistics experience required.
· Previous logistics and warehouse experience preferred
· Experience with spreadsheets/statistical analysis
· 1-3 years of Excel experience
· Proficient in Microsoft applications.
· Knowledge of Transportation Regulations

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of University Park, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
