(FEA) , a U.S. subsidiary of Fortune Electric Co., Ltd., a publicly traded company headquartered in Taiwan, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator Assistant to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in building a career in logistics, transportation, and supply chain operations . You will work closely with our Logistics team to coordinate the transportation and delivery of large power transformers and related equipment throughout the United States. Prior logistics experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to provide hands-on training to a motivated candidate with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. This position also offers opportunities to develop into a Logistics Coordinator role as you gain experience. What You'll Do Coordinate with our overseas teams to obtain transformer dimensions, weights, shipping schedules, and other transportation requirements. Work with freight forwarders, trucking companies, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to obtain and review transportation quotes. Prepare freight cost comparisons and recommendations for management review and approval. Coordinate and track shipments from origin through final delivery, ensuring schedules and delivery requirements are clearly communicated. Provide timely shipment updates to Sales, Service, Job Site Managers, Accounting, customers, and other internal teams. Communicate directly with carriers and logistics vendors to address shipment delays, scheduling changes, oversized-load requirements, and other transportation issues. Work closely with headquarters, vendors, and internal teams to identify practical and cost-effective shipping solutions and help minimize additional freight and overage charges. Coordinate delivery appointments with customers, job sites, carriers, and internal teams and confirm successful completion of deliveries. Review freight documentation and submit invoices to Accounting for processing and approval. Maintain organized and accurate shipment records, quotes, delivery documentation, and logistics files. Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Logistics team and assist with special projects as needed. What We're Looking For Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent education or relevant work experience will also be considered. Logistics, transportation, supply chain, freight, or coordination experience is a plus, but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word . Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to compare costs and review shipping information accurately. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable communicating with vendors, carriers, customers, and internal teams. Proactive problem-solving skills and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
