Position Overview: We are looking for motivated Logistics Coordinator Assistants to join our dispatch team in a hands-on developmental role. In this position, you will support our dispatchers by monitoring field staff through a variety of tracking tools and dashboards, flagging developing risks so schedules stay on track, and connecting directly with drivers to help clear roadblocks and keep them moving. This role is designed to build the skills and experience needed to grow into a full-time Dispatcher position with Florida Medical Transport. Key Responsibilities: As a Logistics Coordinator Assistant, you will work closely alongside our dispatch team to help keep field operations running smoothly. You will use company tools and dashboards to monitor driver progress, communicate with field staff to resolve issues quickly, and build the transportation and problem-solving expertise needed to advance into a dispatcher role. Monitor field staff and driver activity in real time using company tracking tools and dashboards. Identify developing risks of late arrivals and report them promptly to dispatchers. Reach out directly to drivers in the field, as requested, to help clear roadblocks and keep them moving. Support dispatchers with day-to-day coordination and monitoring tasks. Communicate clearly and efficiently with field staff, especially in time-sensitive moments. Build problem-solving skills on the job to help resolve scheduling and field challenges. Help maintain accurate records of trip progress and communications. Flexible shifts available Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to relay information clearly and quickly. Comfortable learning and navigating multiple software applications, dashboards, and transportation-tracking tools. A focused, driven, and capable approach to your work. Ability to stay calm, clear-headed, and effective in fast-moving, time-sensitive situations. A proactive, solution-oriented mindset — problem-solving skills will be developed through on-the-job training. Interest in growing into a full-time Dispatcher role within the organization. Prior experience in logistics, dispatch, or transportation is a plus, but not required. What We Offer: Starting pay of $16.00 – $20.00 per hour.
