THE IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the accurate picking, packing, and processing of customer orders to support the on-time delivery of NDI products. This role performs shipping transactions within Epicor, prepares outbound shipments in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements, and supports inbound receiving activities as needed.
This position collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient material flow, resolve order-related issues, maintain logistics procedures and work instructions, and support continuous improvement, 5S, and business continuity initiatives.
HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:
Outbound Logistics and Order Fulfillment
- Pick, verify, kit, pack, and process customer orders accurately and efficiently to support on-time shipment.
- Create and process shipping transactions in Epicor, generating packing slips and related shipment documentation.
- Stage completed shipments for carrier pickup and ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and internal procedures.
- Investigate and help resolve order discrepancies, shipment issues, and documentation concerns.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient shipping work area.
Logistics Support and Cross-Training
- Provide backup support for receiving activities during vacations, absences, and periods of increased workload.
- Support shipping documentation activities, including export and customs documentation, and assist with carrier, freight forwarder, and broker coordination as required.
- Cross-train in Material Coordinator activities and provide support with material picking, inventory transactions, and material delivery to production areas to maintain continuity of material flow.
- Demonstrate flexibility in performing a variety of logistics and material handling activities based on business needs and workload demands.
Continuous Improvement and Documentation
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
- Maintain 5S standards and identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, workflow efficiency, and workplace organization.
- Assist in the creation, review, maintenance, and continuous improvement of work instructions, packing procedures, and quality documentation.
Quality and Compliance
- Ensure documentation accuracy, traceability, and compliance requirements are maintained.
- Support audits, investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities as required.
- Promote a culture of quality, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Support compliance by adhering to applicable regulatory and quality standards, ensuring product integrity and patient safety in a global medical device environment.
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or a related field is considered an asset.
- 1+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, order fulfillment, or a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience working with ERP systems is preferred; Epicor experience is considered an asset.
- Experience working in an ISO-regulated manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
- Experience with international shipping, export documentation, and customs processes is considered an asset.

- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization, with the ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve processes, organization, and operational efficiency.
- Proficient computer skills, including the ability to accurately process transactions within ERP systems and interpret work instructions, procedures, and quality documentation.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and support a team-oriented environment.
- Adaptable and flexible, with a willingness to support a variety of logistics and materials-related activities while maintaining a safe, organized, and professional workplace.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive picking, packing, and material handling activities throughout the workday.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to handle small components and finished goods.
- Ability to work in warehouse, shipping, receiving, and manufacturing support environments, including safely lifting, moving, and carrying materials weighing up to approximately 50 lbs.
