Logistics coordinator

Setara Logistics is hiring a logistics coordinator in Vaughan, Ontario. The role runs freight files end to end, from booking through to invoicing, across ocean, air, rail and intermodal, and full truckload. Customs entries are coordinated with a licensed customs broker partner. Capacity is booked with carriers, including our sister company Setara Transport.
Responsibilities
• book and manage files

across all modes
• coordinate customs entries with the broker partner
• quote and book carrier capacity
• keep shippers updated and work the shared mailbox
• audit carrier invoices and raise customer invoices with the correct tax treatment
• help build the forwarding system
Requirements
• two or more years coordinating freight files at a forwarder, carrier or third party logistics provider
• depth in at least one of ocean, air or surface
• comfortable in a freight system and a spreadsheet
• entitled to work in Canada. French is an asset for the Quebec files.
Hybrid, business hours Monday to Friday. Pay and the office split are discussed on the first call.
