Logistics Coordinator

General Summary: This position will be responsible for effective and accurate management of inventory, and facilitating outbound shipments for Eastern Fisheries. This includes, but is not limited to: Meeting daily customer shipping expectations, maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring accurate customer invoicing. Essential Functions: · Process/ship/coordinate all outbound shipments with our 3PL warehouses. Coordinate with other members of the operations/logistics team and freight carriers. · Provide sales support and act as a subject matter expert for their position. Other Responsibilities: · Rigorous follow up with our vendors on a daily basis to maintain timely shipments and accurate information. · Special projects are required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Qualifications: · High attention to detail. · Ability to work in a team environment. · Ability to manage data, and conduct analyses on mode, frequency, weight, volume, cost, etc. · Excellent written and verbal communications skills and demonstrated ability in fostering teamwork. · Possess sufficient interpersonal and communications skills (both oral and written) to deal with all levels of employees and outside personnel. · Proficient in Microsoft Excel · Warehouse and Transportation Knowledge Working Conditions: · Normal office conditions with moderate noise level and comfortable temperature plus occasional trips to 3PL locations nearby.
