Overview Join our dynamic logistics team as a Logistics Coordinator, where you'll be at the forefront of managing and optimizing supply chain operations. Responsibilities Coordinate transportation planning and shipping logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods across domestic and international markets. Manage warehouse distribution activities, including inventory control, materials handling, and stock replenishment using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as SAP or AS400. Oversee procurement processes, including sourcing vendors, negotiating pricing, and managing supplier relationships to optimize costs and service levels. Conduct data collection and analysis using tools like SQL, Excel data analysis, and Tableau to identify process improvement opportunities and root cause analysis for supply chain issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on demand planning, production scheduling (MRP), and trade compliance to meet customer expectations while adhering to international trade regulations. Supervise shipping & receiving operations, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, freight management (including NVOCC), and adherence to safety standards such as forklift operation and manual handling protocols. Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and 3PL partnerships to optimize freight routes, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience practicing in a supply chain operations role with strong understanding of warehouse experience, inventory management systems, and logistics management. Proficiency in data analysis skills including SQL, Excel spreadsheets, and supply chain analytics tools like Tableau. Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), ERP platforms (such as SAP or AS400), and warehouse management systems (WMS). Demonstrated ability in negotiation, vendor management, procurement, sourcing, and trade compliance within international trade regulations. Hands-on experience with forklift operation, materials handling equipment, shipping & receiving procedures, and manual handling safety standards. Strong analysis skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis for process improvements in demand planning or inventory control. Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration across departments such as customer service, production planning, and vendor management.
