We are currently recruiting to add a Logistics Coordinator to our branch in San Leandro, CA. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing flow of large project orders and direct through stock (DTS). The logistics coordinator also works closely with internal teams to ensureaccuracy of received products. Essential Duties &Responsibilities: Efficient & Timely receiving of all DTS shipments into the warehouse. Works with Lighting and Gear Departments to ensure products are received accurately upon receipt. Helps facilitate freight claims, reports damaged goods immediately to project manager and/or salesperson. Thorough cross-check of goods against packing slips/BOL’s. Opening boxes as needed. May require checking against submittals at times. Proper handling and labeling of DTS goods upon storing in the warehouse. Use of Solar Eclipse and Job Management Communicates well with warehouse manager on outgoing shipments to customers, including packs, kits, and palletizes per customer expectations. Understands job-site conditions to maximize efficiency of the delivery process. Looks for creative ways to improve process and efficiencies to ensure best-in-class performance. May work with drivers, on occasion, to ensure proper handling of goods. Works well with other facets & personnel in the warehouse. Willing to do non-DTS related duties in the warehouse when caught up. Education &Experience: High School Diploma or Equivalent 2+ years warehouse experience, Electrical Distribution experience preferred. Skills : Language Skills : Ability to read and interpret documents and writes routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers/vendors or other employees. Mathematical Skills : Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
