Logistics Coordinator

Distributor is looking for a person with experience dealing with 3pl's securing rates for their freight. Must have a good working knowledge of the Brokerage Business and have a true understanding of today market. Work with our CSR's to get the best rate possible, If interested please provide a resume. Responsibilities Manage procurement activities, including sourcing vendors, negotiating pricing, and executing purchase orders in compliance with trade regulations and trade compliance standards. Utilize data analysis skills, SQL, Excel data analysis, and Tableau dashboards to monitor supply chain performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement. Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain disruptions or inventory discrepancies, implementing corrective actions promptly. Vendor management, demand planning to optimize stock levels and reduce costs. Support international trade compliance by understanding import/export regulations and documentation requirements for global shipments. Maintain accurate records of shipping & freight activities. Experience Proven experience practicing in a supply chain operations role with a strong understanding of logistics management. Demonstrated ability to analyze data using Excel spreadsheets, SQL queries, and supply chain analytics tools to support decision-making processes. Familiarity with procurement processes including sourcing, vendor management, pricing strategies, and freight negotiations Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with procurement teams, warehouse staff, transportation providers, and suppliers.
