Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator who can keep several moving parts organized, communicate clearly with customers and carriers, and take ownership of day-to-day shipping activity. This role supports the movement of inbound and outbound goods from order confirmation through delivery. You will work closely with warehouse staff, suppliers, carriers, and customers to keep shipments on schedule and resolve issues before they become bigger problems. Your responsibilities will include: Coordinate daily freight pickups, deliveries, and shipment schedules. Prepare and review bills of lading, packing lists, shipping labels, delivery receipts, and related logistics documents. Communicate with carriers, brokers, warehouse teams, suppliers, and customers regarding shipment status and delivery requirements. Track shipments in transit and follow up promptly on delays, damages, shortages, or missed appointments. Schedule warehouse activity and delivery appointments to support efficient loading and unloading. Enter and maintain accurate order, inventory, freight-cost, and shipment information in company systems. Assist with carrier-rate comparisons, freight quotes, and transportation-cost tracking. Reconcile proof-of-delivery documents and support invoice review when needed. Keep customers informed with clear, timely updates. Help maintain organized records for shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and claims. Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues in carrier performance, documentation, or order flow. What We’re Looking For 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight coordination, warehouse operations, or supply chain support. Comfortable working with shipment schedules, carrier portals, order-management systems, and spreadsheets. Strong attention to detail; you understand that a missing number or incorrect document can delay a shipment. Good communication skills and confidence speaking with carriers, customers, and internal teams. Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-moving environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and data-entry systems. Experience with freight documentation, inventory systems, or transportation-management software is preferred. Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills are a plus. Experience supporting cross-border freight or customs documentation is helpful but not required. Schedule and Work Environment Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Full-time, on-site position in Laredo. Occasional schedule adjustments may be needed to support carrier cutoffs, urgent deliveries, or inventory activity. This is primarily an office-based role with regular coordination with the warehouse and shipping teams. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is $50,000–$52,000 per year, based on experience and relevant logistics knowledge.
