Logistics Coordinator

In this vital role, you will oversee the end-to-end coordination of transportation planning, management and compliance. Responsibilities Schedule and coordinate freight transportation, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries. Communicate effectively with drivers, brokers, and clients to address any scheduling or route issues. Monitor driver availability, hours of service, and load assignments to comply with regulations and maximize productivity. Update and maintain accurate dispatch records and software, track shipments and ensure clear documentation. Resolve transportation issues promptly, including delays, reroutes, or customer inquiries. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and drivers, fostering trust and reliability. Negotiate rates with brokers and customers, optimizing profitability while maintaining exceptional service. Required Qualifications Minimum 1-year experience with flatbeds freight in the U.S. trucking industry Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in using dispatching software (Power DAT/Truckstop), spreadsheets and basic office skills and relevant tools Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions while working under pressure. Familiarity with U.S. trucking regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS) and DOT compliance. Qualifications with added value Experience in freight brokerage is a bonus but not a requirement. Proficiency in English is highly valued, and a slight accent is not a barrier. Fluency in Spanish is beneficial. Tech-savviness, with an interest in technology, website maintenance and social media, is an advantage and may lead to higher earning potential. Proactive individuals who bring innovative ideas to enhance operations are highly appreciated. However, if you prefer to focus solely on dispatching trucks, that is perfectly acceptable as well. Company Description Wolf Enterprises was established in 2006 as a one truck owner operator. Shortly after obtaining our own authority, have slowly grown since then. We specialize in flatbeds of several types. Flatbed, Step Decks, Conestoga and even a Low Boy. Our operations help customers and brokers move many types of freight including steel, landscape material, military equipment, precast concrete, foam insulation, agricultural machinery and construction equipment including heavy haul. If it fits on a open deck trailer, we most likely would be happy to move it. We support our customers by providing trucks working independently or together on a job site move. Our drivers can load and unload equipment on step decks with ramps and with low boys. Our in-house dispatch also operates a brokerage to assist customers when there is a bigger demand than we have trucks for. We are a one stop company for any flatbed needs.
