Position: Logistics Coordinator | Employment Type: Full-time | Work Location: On-site Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Job Summary: The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the movement and distribution of inventory in an efficient and safe manner. This role focuses on improving workflows and ensuring that logistics processes, daily schedules and productivity meet organizational goals and customer expectations. Job Responsibilities: Coordinates transportation to ensure timely and safe movement of materials Create daily work schedules, assign daily routes of delivery Dispatch CDL drivers to optimize routes, reduce costs, and improve delivery times Identify inefficiencies and implement process enhancements Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy Tracking and correcting shipping errors Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards Foster a positive work environment and ensure team productivity Monitor logistics performance metrics and implement improvements Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments Work with the Fleet Department to ensure transportation reliability Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations & safety standards Requirements: Effective communication: writing, speaking and all interpersonal communication Excellent customer service, client relations and conflict resolution skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Advanced data analysis and data visualization utilizing multiple data sources Understanding of obstacles and effective solutions 3+ years logistics/dispatch experience preferred Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management Strong leadership and team management skills Strong organizational, problem-solving, critical thinking and time management skills Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred Strong analytical and decision-making skills Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required May require occasional travel to distribution centers or client sites Benefits: 401(k) with matching Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance PTO Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
