Inovata Foods Corp.is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to partner with us as we bring families and friends together through offering wholesome and convenient meals. The role is located in our Tillsonburg, Ontario facility. Inovata Foods Corp. is a major producer of wholesome control brand frozen meals for many of North America’s largest retailers.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the coordination of materials, and transfer of product between warehouses, production, third parties and internal locations abiding by the GMP & guidelines related to allergens, CFIA, Ministry of Transportation Regulations and general warehouse best practices.
- Primary contact and responsible for the transfers out of Tillsonburg including the tendering, communication, paperwork, tracking, and scheduling.
- Responsible for the proper pulling, staging, marking and issuing of Certificates, Customs Paperwork, Bills of Lading and other related paperwork, respecting FIFO and FEFO in accordance with the Bill of Materials, CFIA, Shipping schedules and Customer Requirements. Collects paperwork from the QA department and ensures packages are compiled, complete, and correct for each export load. Gives instructions to drivers and carriers related to export pickup, inspection, and crossing. Submits customs documents and paperwork to the corresponding crossing and customs broker.
- Monitor export crossings, clearings, and deliveries. Work with the QA team and assist as needed with border crossing and clearing.
- Responsible for the active communication and direction to and between various internal departments, carriers, brokers, customs brokers etc. Maintain relationships within and outside the department and company and represent Inovata Foods in a professional manner.
- Maintain TMS tracking of loads including in/out times, bill of lading uploads, and delivery status updates.
- Promotes our SQF program for food safety and quality to all employees throughout the organization.
- Keep a non-conformance log related to logistics including but not limited to rejected trailers and broken seals. Work with the Quality Team to ensure SQF programs are withheld in the logistics department.
- Follow all company food safety programs including GMP’s to produce the highest quality product for our customers.
- May be required to assist with Finished Goods inventory management offsite and troubleshooting related to inventory or invoice discrepancies in tandem with the accounting department and customer service team.
- Maintains their work areas in accordance with departmental requirements, company safety policies and applicable health and safety legislation, rules and regulations
- Performs other related duties as required or requested by Supervisor, Manager, Department Head or Senior leadership.

Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in related field.
- Experience in a food manufacturing is a nice to have.
- Experience managing timelines and projects with various stakeholders.
Working Conditions:

Position may require varying start times and extended working hours with occasional weekends to facilitate customer presentations and attendance and production trials and first runs.
