The Opportunity

We are seeking a strategic-minded Logistics Coordinator to enhance the performance of our North American logistics network. Supporting all AGI locations across Canada and the United States, this role plays a critical part in optimizing international, domestic, and cross-border freight operations while contributing to long-term cost efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage international, domestic, and cross-border shipments for AGI locations with a focus on optimizing routing, service levels, and overall logistics performance.
  • Serve as a key liaison between AGI locations and logistics partners, strengthening relationships and ensuring transparent, high-quality communication.
  • Prepare, review, and manage all import/export and customs documentation, ensuring compliance and operational continuity.
  • Book and track shipments, ensuring timely delivery and proactive issue resolution.
  • Support AGI’s transportation strategy by assessing freight options, identifying cost savings, and providing recommendations for smarter logistics decisions.
  • Analyze carrier performance and market conditions to help guide vendor selection and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate across departments to forecast logistics needs, support project timelines, and contribute to more integrated planning across the AGI network.
  • Maintain accurate logistics data and reporting to support strategic planning and leadership insights.
  • Identify operational gaps and recommend process enhancements to strengthen efficiency, compliance, and customer service.
  • Maintain and improve logistics processes to enhance efficiency, compliance, and customer service levels.
  • Oversee data accuracy, shipment tracking, and reporting to support leadership insights and strategic planning.
  • Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements that drive consistency across the AGI network.

 Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination; experience in international freight forwarding and cross-border operations is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of international shipping, customs requirements, and transportation documentation.
  • Degree in business, logistics or related field preferred. Professional certification (CLTD, CSCP) will be an asset.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate freight options, identify savings, and inform strategic decisions.
  • High attention to detail, strong organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with logistics systems and Microsoft Office tools.
