Logistics Coordinator

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our supply chain team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind efficient logistics operations, ensuring seamless coordination across procurement, transportation, warehouse management, and inventory control. Duties Coordinate transportation planning and shipping logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods across domestic and international markets. Manage warehouse distribution activities, including stocking, materials handling, and inventory management systems to maintain optimal stock levels. Oversee procurement processes by sourcing suppliers, negotiating pricing and terms, and managing vendor relationships to maximize value. Utilize transportation management systems (TMS), ERP platforms (such as SAP or AS400), and warehouse management systems to streamline operations and monitor supply chain performance. Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain disruptions or inefficiencies, implementing process improvements to prevent recurrence. Analyze data using tools like SQL, Excel data analysis, and Tableau to generate insights on demand planning, inventory control, and freight costs. Collaborate cross-functionally with production planning, customer service, trade compliance teams, and external partners like 3PL providers or NVOCCs for order fulfillment and shipping & receiving activities. Skills Strong proficiency in data collection, analysis skills, and spreadsheet management using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel for data analysis and reporting. Experience with warehouse experience including inventory management systems, warehouse operations, materials handling equipment like forklifts, and manual handling procedures. Knowledge of supply chain management principles including procurement, sourcing, demand planning, freight forwarding, and trade compliance with international trade regulations. Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), ERP platforms (e.g., SAP or AS400), and inventory management systems for efficient logistics coordination. Excellent negotiation skills paired with vendor management experience to secure favorable pricing and service levels. Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements within logistics workflows. Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration across logistics management, customer service teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Practicing in a supply chain operations role with expertise in shipping logistics, order fulfillment, inventory control, and profit & loss management is highly desirable.
