The base salary listed is a range. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others). In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a bonus, providing the opportunity to earn additional compensation.

Position Summary

The Logistics Business Analyst will serve as the primary Business Analyst supporting Zinpro’s Transportation Management System (TMS) Mercury Gate / Infios, with additional involvement in Warehouse Management (WMS) and Order Management Systems (OMS) as needed. This role is a key partner with Logistics, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and IT to gather and document requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and support solution design. The role will lead and coordinate testing and user acceptance, and support deployments and post go live stabilization and drive continuous improvements through system enhancements, integrations, and process optimization to increase efficiency, scalability, and end to end visibility across global operations.

Essential Functions 

  • Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements related to transportation, warehousing, and order fulfillment processes, translating them into clear functional specifications for system configuration, integrations, and enhancements. 
  • Support the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing management of Zinpro’s TMS and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including planning, execution, testing, user acceptance, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and external vendors to ensure solutions align with business needs, technical standards, and overall enterprise architecture. 
  • Collaborate with, and act as a liaison to, SAP functional and technical teams, both internal and external, to ensure effective integration between TMS/WMS solutions and SAP, including order management, shipping, billing, and financial processes. 
  • Provide functional support and troubleshooting for transportation, warehousing, and order management systems, including root cause analysis and coordination of issue resolution. 
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to reduce manual processes, improve automation, and enhance data accuracy and visibility across transportation and warehouse operations. 
  • Develop and maintain business process documentation, functional designs, test scripts, training materials, and standard operating procedures related to supported systems. 
  • Support reporting and analytics needs by partnering with stakeholders to define requirements for dashboards, KPIs, and operational metrics related to transportation, warehousing, and order management. 
  • Ensure supported solutions and processes align with enterprise standards, data governance practices, and security requirements. 
  • Perform other duties and projects assigned in support of the Business Applications Team and broader IT strategy. 

 

Qualifications 

Minimum Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst or similar role supporting enterprise business applications.
  • Hands-on experience supporting or implementing Mercury Gate/Infios (TMS) in a logistics, supply chain, or distribution environment.
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into functional specifications, including process flows, use cases, and test scenarios.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders (Logistics, Operations, Customer Service, Finance, IT) to deliver system improvements and process enhancements.
  • Knowledge of SAP in an enterprise environment, with a general understanding of how SAP integrates with downstream or adjacent systems (e.g., transportation, warehousing, order management).
  • Experience supporting system testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, project-oriented environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting or implementing a Warehouse Management System (WMS), including inbound, outbound, inventory, or warehouse execution processes.
  • Experience working with external software vendors and system integrators during implementations or major enhancements.
  • Experience working in Agile, hybrid, or project-based delivery models.

 

Schedule Requirements 

This is a hybrid position expected to work within core business hours. This position requires a minimum of 3 days per week on-site. This role also provides third-level technical support for critical incidents while working with colleagues and service providers as required. 

Travel Requirements

Approximately 20% travel is required to local plants, warehouses, and domestic and international offices.

The work environment characteristics are those consistent with a standard office environment.   

Positions in this class typically require typing, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.  

Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
