Job Summary We’re looking for a Logistics Assistant to support production operations through production scheduling, inventory management, capacity planning, and data analysis. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow, ensure material availability, and help drive on-time delivery while supporting safe, efficient manufacturing operations. Shift: 1st shift, Monday-Friday 6:00a-2:30p What You’ll Be Doing Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production priorities. Adjust schedules to accommodate changing customer demand, resource availability, and production constraints. Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods to support production requirements. Partner with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials needed to meet production schedules. Collaborate with operations, engineering, and other functional teams to align production plans with business objectives. Communicate production status, schedule changes, and potential issues to key stakeholders. Analyze production capacity and resource utilization to support efficient operations and on-time delivery. Identify bottlenecks and work with operations teams to implement effective solutions. Utilize ERP systems, Power BI, and other planning tools to analyze production data and performance metrics. Prepare reports and provide recommendations based on production and inventory data analysis. Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve production planning processes. Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements. Provide support and training on production planning tools, systems, and processes.
