Logistics Assistant Manager

We are seeking a Logistics Assistant Manager to support and oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, material planning, and logistics activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Columbia, SC. This role is responsible for ensuring material availability, maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing logistics processes, and leading warehouse and logistics personnel. The ideal candidate will have strong supply chain experience, ERP system knowledge, and a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Manage inventory levels and material planning to support production requirements. Oversee warehouse operations, cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and FIFO compliance. Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities and transportation providers. Maintain ERP master data and ensure accurate inventory transactions. Lead and develop logistics and warehouse team members. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred. 3+ years of logistics, warehouse, inventory, or supply chain leadership experience. Manufacturing experience required; automotive industry experience preferred. Experience with ERP systems and inventory management. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
