Logistics & Warehouse Assistant We are seeking a dependable and organized Logistics & Warehouse Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. Our company works with medical imaging equipment, components, parts, and related materials , so organization, proper handling, accurate inventory records, and attention to detail are extremely important. This is a hands-on position involving inventory management, shipping and receiving, material handling, warehouse organization, and computer-based inventory and logistics work. The ideal candidate has previous warehouse experience, is comfortable working with both physical inventory and computer systems, and can work independently while keeping the warehouse organized and accurate. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, identify, and properly document incoming equipment, parts, and materials. Maintain accurate inventory records, including part numbers, serial numbers, quantities, locations, and equipment condition. Perform regular inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation. Organize and maintain warehouse stock locations so equipment and parts can be located quickly and accurately. Label, tag, photograph, and document incoming and outgoing inventory as required. Assist with inventory data entry and maintain inventory records using Microsoft Excel and other computer systems . Prepare equipment and parts for domestic and international shipments. Pack, palletize, wrap, label, and secure equipment properly for transportation. Prepare and review shipping and receiving documentation. Coordinate with freight carriers, shipping companies, vendors, suppliers, and internal staff. Track incoming and outgoing shipments and maintain related documentation. Assist with vendor management, purchase receipts, packing lists, invoices, and shipment records. Support international shipping processes and maintain documentation related to customs, import/export requirements, and trade compliance. Assist with freight quotes, bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and other logistics documentation. Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, and forklifts . Load and unload trucks and freight shipments safely. Move and organize medical imaging equipment and other heavy materials throughout the warehouse. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Identify inventory discrepancies, damaged equipment, missing items, or documentation issues and report them promptly. Assist management with warehouse projects, inventory organization, logistics coordination, and other operational needs. Follow company procedures for handling valuable and sensitive medical imaging equipment. Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, shipping/receiving, or a similar position . Strong understanding of inventory and stock management. Experience receiving, documenting, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products or equipment. Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, email, internet-based systems, and general computer software . Ability to accurately enter and maintain inventory information. Experience using pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment. Forklift experience preferred; forklift certification is a plus. Familiarity with freight shipping, LTL shipments, domestic shipping, and international shipping is preferred. Familiarity with customs documentation, international trade regulations, or import/export procedures is a plus. Experience communicating with vendors, freight carriers, and suppliers is preferred. Ability to read and accurately record part numbers, serial numbers, model numbers, and other equipment information. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain accurate records. Dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision. Must be comfortable working in an active warehouse environment.
