Logistics and Shipping Specialist

Responsibilities Prepare, package, label, and process outgoing shipments in accordance with company and carrier requirements. Maintain accurate shipping documentation, including packing lists, bills of lading, delivery receipts, and related records. Enter and maintain shipment information in warehouse management and tracking systems. Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely deliveries. Schedule carrier pickups and monitor shipping timelines and delivery needs. Communicate shipment status, delays, documentation needs, and other shipping-related issues. Use Excel and Outlook to maintain logs, communicate updates, and coordinate shipping schedules. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, or a related environment. Proficient in data entry, Excel, Outlook, and warehouse management systems (WMS). Working knowledge of shipping procedures, inventory practices, and general warehouse operations. Strong basic math skills with the ability to perform calculations accurately. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and carriers by phone. Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize, organize, and schedule multiple tasks accurately and efficiently.
