Job Summary Our client is seeking a Logistics Analyst - International to support daily ocean logistics operations, including export shipments, documentation, vessel schedules, bookings, and shipment tracking. The role will also handle invoice validation and reconciliation, resolve billing discrepancies, support reporting and data analysis, and coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate shipment execution. Job Description Support daily ocean logistics operations by monitoring export shipments, including container status, bookings, documentation, vessel schedules, cut-offs, in-gate activity, and sailing information Collaborate and communicate effectively with freight forwarders, warehouses, internal stakeholders, and ocean carriers through daily operational calls and ongoing coordination to communicate priorities, resolve issues, and ensure timely execution of ocean shipments Process and validate ocean logistics invoices and payables, review charges against ocean rates and supporting documentation to identify discrepancies before payment Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, working with carriers, freight forwarders, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to obtain supporting documentation, correct billing issues, and ensure invoices are processed accurately and timely Assist with monthly and period-end activities, including invoice reconciliation, outstanding payable follow-up, shipment and invoice reporting, and identification of unresolved items requiring action Support reporting and data analysis related to ocean shipment activity, carrier performance, invoices, payables, and operational exceptions to provide visibility to the ocean logistics team and management Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as business needs evolve Skills Required Minimum 3 years Supply Chain Experience Export Logistics Experience working with ERP (SAP ECC Sales & Distribution) for order fulfillment or logistics execution Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint & Power BI Strong analytical & deductive reasoning skills Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills in verbal and written communications Demonstrated process improvement mindset with the capability to drive enhancements throughout the function Ability to work well in a team environment Ability to set priorities and manage time in a dynamic work environment Strong oral and written communication skills Education/Training/Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience Additional Requirements Must be able to pass drug screen & criminal background check Work Schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days WFH, 8–5 Pay Rate/Salary $30.00-35.00/hr Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors GAS Energy Staffing LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
