The Logistics Analyst supports the planning and execution of freight and warehousing strategies that optimize cost, service, and operational efficiency. Working cross-functionally with customer support teams, logistics providers, manufacturing sites, and shipping locations, this role helps ensure successful execution of seasonal shipping commitments. The Logistics Analyst also analyzes logistics data and KPIs to identify risks, drive continuous improvement, and support timely seed delivery in alignment with geographic planting requirements. VISA Sponsorship is not available for this position. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position. This is a hybrid role working in-office Tuesday–Thursday; remote Monday and Friday. What You’ll Do Develop geographic distribution targets and plans to support on-time delivery and customer service objectives. Provide distribution and logistics support for all seed brands across the U.S. and Canada. Proactively monitor weekly shipping pace, inbound and outbound volume targets, carrier capacity, and dock capacity. Identify risks and collaborate across teams to implement timely solutions. Plan and coordinate the pre-positioning of seed from production locations to regional distribution centers in support of seasonal shipping requirements. Collaborate with Customer Service, logistics providers, and shipping locations to effectively manage shipment scheduling and execution. Coordinate cross-functionally with Quality, Scheduling, Production, and other key stakeholders to support efficient seed movement across the distribution network. Support the development of the product returns strategy and coordinate execution of the returns plan. Monitor and communicate shipping performance, key metrics, risks, and updates to leadership and commercial stakeholders. Support production and warehouse locations with annual physical inventory and cycle-count processes. Assist with freight payment issue resolution and related processes. Understand freight and warehousing costs and provide input into monthly outlook, forecasting, and budgeting processes. Participate in continuous improvement and optimization initiatives that enhance distribution network performance, service, efficiency, and cost effectiveness. Other duties as assigned. Education Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field What Skills You Need 3+ years of relevant experience in logistics, transportation, agriculture, supply chain, or a related field. Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, including the ability to identify trends and support data-driven decisions. Demonstrated working knowledge of transportation, warehousing, freight cost management, and overall logistics operations. Strong problem-solving and continuous-improvement skills with the ability to identify root causes and recommend practical solutions.
