Logistics Analyst

Job Description: Title: Logistics Analyst I Location: Whiteland, IN 46184 Duration: 12 Month (possibility of extension) Pay rate range: $30.00/hr. Shift: 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Description: The Transportation Support Analyst provides administrative and operational support for the transportation team. The role supports shipping label creation, carrier claims documentation, data management, customer communication, and general office coordination to help ensure accurate and timely execution of daily transportation processes. Key Responsibilities: Create and manage shipping labels for transportation activities (Inbound Supplier Shipments, Quality Returns, Premium Freight Requests (PFRs), etc.). Submit and track transportation carrier claims and maintain required supporting documentation. Coordinate and maintain documents, reports, emails, presentations, and other business communications with guidance from the supervisor. Use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to track, document, analyze, and report information. Review and proofread documents for grammar, spelling, accuracy, consistency of terms, and completeness. Ensure document text and graphics follow corporate and organizational guidelines and standards. Acquire, review, input, format, and maintain accurate data in spreadsheets, databases, and other electronic tools. Communicate with internal and external customers by email and phone, research solutions, and direct inquiries to the appropriate resource with supervisor input when needed. Participate in process improvement activities, self-audits, team audits, and resulting corrective actions. Build a strong internal network to answer questions, solve problems, and successfully execute responsibilities. Maintain confidentiality and exercise professional discretion in all responsibilities. Perform other duties as required to support transportation operations and business objectives. Qualifications: Education: Technical/BS preferred in Business, Supply Chain or equivalent
