Job Title: Logistics Analyst 2 Location: Milpitas, CA — Onsite Duration: 12 months Benefits: No employer-provided benefits are offered for this contract position. Job Summary We are seeking a Logistics Analyst 2 with 3–5 years of experience in international logistics, import/export operations, or trade compliance. This role will support import and export activities, customs documentation, international shipment coordination, and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of customs processes, trade documentation, and coordination with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers. Responsibilities Coordinate with customs brokers to facilitate timely import entries and clear goods through ports of entry. Review and verify commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other import documentation. Validate HTS codes and customs valuation to support import compliance. Audit customs entry summaries for accurate duty, tax, tariff, and regulatory fee calculations, including MPF/HMF. Maintain organized, audit-ready import and export records in accordance with applicable regulatory retention requirements. Prepare export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and Shipper's Letters of Instruction. Ensure appropriate Schedule B and ECCN assignments for export compliance. Submit and verify EEI filings through AES/ACE and secure ITNs for export shipments. Coordinate with freight forwarders and carriers to arrange international transportation and export clearances. Track inbound and outbound international shipments and resolve operational issues to minimize transit delays. Audit freight invoices and work directly with freight forwarders, ocean carriers, and customs brokers to resolve discrepancies. Cross-reference multi-line commercial invoices with customs entries to verify valuation, quantities, and country-of-origin declarations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 3+ years of experience in materials, supply chain, international logistics, import/export operations, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in international logistics, import/export, or trade compliance preferred. Experience with import/export documentation and regulatory filings. Knowledge of Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, CBP 7501, and EEI filings through AES/ACE. Experience coordinating with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers. Knowledge of HTS codes, ECCN, and Schedule B classifications. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting manufacturing, electronics, semiconductor, medical device, automotive, aerospace, or other global manufacturing environments. Experience auditing customs entries for duty, tax, tariff, and regulatory fee accuracy. Experience with ERP or logistics management systems. Experience with high-volume international shipping operations. Work Requirements This is an onsite position in Milpitas, CA. This is a 12-month contract position.
