The Position

 

Reporting to the Head of Global Logistics, the logistics agent contributes to the administrative and operational activities related to international transport and imports. He or she is responsible for processing supplier payments, approving invoices, updating information in internal systems and following up on transportation files.

 

The Logistics Agent is distinguished by their autonomy, attention to detail and initiative. They take ownership of their files, ensure effective follow-ups with multiple stakeholders, and actively contribute to improving the team’s processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify the compliance of documents, follow up on missing information, and complete the required validations for supplier payments.
  • Identify issues, carry out the necessary follow-ups, and contribute to their resolution;
  • Update and validate shipment booking information in internal systems.
  • Support the validation of transportation bookings and the tracking of international shipments.
  • Assist with the processing and follow-up of document requests from customs brokers;
  • Contribute to improving and optimizing the team’s processes.
  • Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

 

Profile

  • Education in logistics, administration, operations management, international business, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in logistics, transportation, or administration is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail, autonomy, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good command of computer tools and ability to learn and use various systems with ease.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Spoken and written French; functional English, both spoken and written.
