Position Summary: 

The Warehouse Administrator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily warehouse activities. This includes managing inventory, processing orders, maintaining records, and ensuring the smooth operation of all warehouse functions. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 

 

 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

· Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, maintain accurate inventory records, and coordinate restocking as needed.  

· Order Processing: Ensure orders are processed in a timely manner, including picking, packing, and shipping items to customers or other departments.  

· Documentation: Maintain and update all warehouse records, including receipts, packing slips, shipping labels, and delivery notes.  

· Logistics Coordination: Assist with the organization of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring that all items are properly received, stored, and dispatched.  

· Quality Control: Ensure the quality of goods received and dispatched, reporting any discrepancies or damage.  

· Warehouse Organization: Oversee the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, ensuring products are stored in the correct locations and that the workspace is safe and well-maintained.  

· Communication: Act as a liaison between warehouse staff, vendors, and other departments to facilitate smooth operations.  

· Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in the warehouse, including proper handling and storage of hazardous materials.  

· Team Support: Provide support to warehouse staff by managing schedules, assisting with problem-solving, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. 

 

Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Skills, and Education): 

· High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred. 

· Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics is preferred.  

· Strong organizational and multitasking skills. 

· Proficient in using shipping software and MS Office Suite. 

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

· Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed. 

 

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: 

Performing General Physical Activities – Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials up to 50 pounds.
