Logistics Account Associate

We handle the warehousing, order processing, and shipping so our clients can focus on building their brands. As we grow, the relationship between MPIO and each client matters just as much as the boxes moving through our warehouse. This role plays a key part in owning and strengthening those relationships. POSITION OVERVIEW The Logistics Account Associate is the connection between our clients and our warehouse operations. You will own a portfolio of client accounts end to end, monitoring order flow, catching problems before clients feel them, and keeping every account informed, accurate, and on track. This is a hands-on role at a growing company. You will inherit processes that work today but may not always work at twice the volume, and we want someone who notices those opportunities and helps improve them. This is a full-time, Los Angeles-based position reporting to the Director of Sales and Business Development. SCOPE OF OWNERSHIP Day-to-day communication and coordination for a portfolio of client accounts Order status and fulfillment activity across assigned accounts Account reporting and KPI tracking New client onboarding coordination KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Account Management Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts Build strong client relationships through clear, proactive, and reliable communication Respond to client inquiries quickly and thoroughly Maintain a strong understanding of each client's operational requirements, priorities, and expectations Order and Fulfillment Coordination Monitor order status and fulfillment activity daily, flagging issues before clients have to ask Partner closely with warehouse operations to keep orders accurate and on time Investigate and resolve discrepancies, delays, and fulfillment exceptions Communicate operational issues and resolutions clearly to clients and internal teams Reporting and Onboarding Track KPIs and prepare account reports that keep clients and internal teams aligned Support new client onboarding and help ensure accounts are set up for a smooth launch Identify recurring process gaps and help streamline how client accounts are managed as MPIO grows Maintain accurate account information, requirements, and documentation REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience At least 2 years of experience in account management, logistics, customer service, or supply chain; 3PL experience is a strong plus Ability to manage multiple active accounts, priorities, and details without losing sight of deadlines or follow-through Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear, warm, and professional approach Proficiency with Excel; experience with logistics or warehouse management systems is a plus Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of issues through resolution NICE TO HAVE Fluency in Chinese or Korean Prior experience at a 3PL or in e-commerce fulfillment Experience supporting food, beverage, or CPG brands Experience working directly with warehouse or fulfillment operations A habit of fixing a process when it becomes a repeat headache COMPENSATION & BENEFITS The hourly pay range for this position is $30 to $40 per hour , depending on experience. Actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications and relevant experience.
